Celebrate 22 years of seafood with us on Saturday the 14th of March 2026 for a day of delicious seafood, live entertainment, and great family fun!

Join kiwi legends & live entertainment on the Gascoigne Wicks Stage, while celebrity chef's share their secrets in the Culinary Tent, alongside cooking demonstrations from other local experts. Headline acts Shapeshifter will perform, alongside Tom Knowles & The Full Noise Band, and the Wellington Sea Shanty Society & more!

Savour the flavours of the sea with over 40 food stalls.

Keep the kids entertained at the Marlborough Lines Kids Zone, participate in dress-up competitions, and don't miss the public mussel opening competitions, including the Guinness World Record attempt.

Learn about the local industry and its impact on the community in the Marine Farming Association Industry Tent.

The Havelock Mussel & Seafood Festival is not just about indulging in delicious seafood. It's also about supporting the local community and promoting the NZ Green Shell Mussel Capital - Havelock.

Community Grants

Our objective is to support charitable causes in our community. We do this by providing grants to local organizations in the Rai Valley, Canvastown, Havelock, Okaramio, Linkwater, Kenepuru and Pelorus Sound area. Our grants process relies on the profits from the festival, which enables us to give back to the community.

Since 2004, we have donated over $315,000 to various organizations in our community.
